“Open my eyes, that I may see wonderful things in your law.”
– Psalm 119:18

David, as the Psalmist, prayed in Psalm 119:18, “Open my eyes, that I may see wonderful things in your law.” We have discovered time and time again wonderful things; the beauty, authority, and the sufficiency of God’s Word in our lives and in the lives of others. It is for this reason that we consider it a privilege to share the many bits of help, resources, and studies that have aided in our growth along the way in this website; calltoduty.co.

We have worked hard to create a place where the beauty and authority of Scripture in both the design and function of this website would be a great resource to you; both for inspiration and transformation.

Like all other books, the Bible is a book designed to be read. But in important ways, the Bible is not like any other book because the ultimate Author of the Bible is God. In many respects, it is God’s autobiography with a life-changing message. Since He is holy, His Word is holy, and the contents of His Word is designed to make us holy. As we continue to read, study, and meditate upon His Word, we can discover this more and more. The ideal of calltoduty.co is to provide a reading experience that keeps the focus of each content entry on Scripture, it’ Author, and His mission!

On calltoduty.co, articles have been written and edited from the careful study and reflection of disciples from many walks of life, backgrounds, and spiritual experience. In these, you will discover verse-by-verse insight into difficult passages, topical articles and practical application for daily life. These provide carefully researched material to supplement your study of God’s Word and serve as additional aids and references to further enrich your study. While they are not intended to be the final authority on Scripture, they are a reliable deposit of ongoing reflection to guide each reader into the never-ending depths and riches of God’s revelation in His Word.

This is just the beginning and we hope and pray that as its content expands, that it serves you well. By God’s grace, may your eyes see wonderful things!
